Bone Broth is an delicious, easy and inexpensive way of getting essential nutrients through food! Rich in minerals such as calcium, magnesium & phosphorus, bone broth supports immune function and joint & bone health. I've added a few special extra ingredients in mine to give it an extra immune boosting support. Check out my video to see how I make it.
Bone Broth Recipe
Ingredients:
Organic Bones (poultry, fish, beef, lamb, etc)
Water
1/2 Lemon or 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
Vegetables or Veggie Scraps (Onion, Peppers, Carrots, Kale, Mushrooms, Broccoli, etc)
Handful of Shiitake Mushrooms (optional & recommended)
Small handful of Astragalus Root (optional & recommended)
Directions:
Cover bones with water in a slow cooker or large pot.
Add lemon or vinegar, veggies, mushrooms & astragalus.
Simmer overnight. Drain broth. Keep refrigerated for several days or freeze.
Use in soups, stews, rice or anywhere broth/water is required.
